Hello world!

其实很早就想写博客的, 但一直拖了好久, 原因主要还是懒吧… 转系完了有时间来折腾一下. 博客不是空间/人人日志, 还是要多写一写有意义的东西的, 对于我而言, 主要就是记录学习的点滴和自己的思考.

两天时间读完了 Apprenticeship Patterns: Guidance for the Aspiring Software Craftsman 中文版, 中译名叫《软件开发者路线图: 从学徒到高手》 (神翻译?).

看 Coursera 机器学习课的时候接触到 Trading Off Precision and Recall 的概念, 那么问题来了, 如何区分 Precision 和 Recall 使得我不会记混, 尤其 Recall 是什么鬼?

It is a book that I wish I could read earlier. Luckily, it is not too late as I am still an undergrad… I like Cal Newport’s book Deep Work, so out of curiosity I read this one, his earlier book. The title is kind of buzzword… but the book offers some good advice. Here are my highlights.

As a bookworm-turned-nomophobia-turning-psychology-enthusiast, I’ve been trying to understand human’s behaviors. One of the topics that interest me most, is why we can’t just look away from our screens. I came across the book Irresistible: The Rise of Addictive Technology and the Business of Keeping Hooked by Adam Alter. It is a pretty recent book (published in Match 2017) written by a young professor (36 years old then) so I decided to give it a shot. It turns out to be really worth the time.

macOS 在 Sierra 10.12.4 就加的 Night Shift 功能, 对于用惯了 f.lux 的人来说没什么价值, 但当外接显示器两屏幕亮度不同色温调节不便时, 利用终端命令控制 Mac 内置的 Night Shift 开关, 搭配免费的 ControlPlane 情景模式工具, 就能实现多屏色温和亮度大致平衡.

整理 Mac 文件的时候发现之前读 Sheryl Sandberg 的 Lean In (中文版: 向前一步)随记的读书笔记. (其实就是我觉得里面比较有用的关键点.)

大一结束的时候读了上海交通大学生存手册, 当时经历了一年大学生活后深有同感, 发现自己不是一个人在过着 outlier 的大学生活. 与其说是 SJTU 的生存手册, 不如说是国内教育体制下本科的正确打开方式. 最近整理文件的时候又看到了, 重读了一遍, 摘录下关键点.
